Hi!
I am Mabel T Cline-Cole
Training and Blended Learning Consultant
I’m the training designer and consultant behind Blended Vocation, specialising in impactful foundational workplace training and learning materials.
I help organisations across sectors design onboarding, compliance, and career development programmes that set people up for success without the fluff and without taking them away from their work.
My approach enables organisations to deliver learning that fits around real work, engages people from day one, and improves performance where it matters most.
My purpose is to make learning count for people and their work

Let me share a bit about my journey, it’s been quite an adventure.
I began by studying microbiology, fascinated by the hidden world of microbes. But everything changed when I took a few psychology and education electives. That’s when I discovered my true passion: education, learning and development. From that point on, my career took a completely different direction.
Since then, I’ve combined my scientific background with roles in public health education, international development and learning design. Over time, I realised that what truly motivated me was helping people grow in ways that reflect how they actually live and work.
One thing that made a lasting impact was having the flexibility to learn at different stages of my own career. That experience inspired me to create Blended Vocation, where flexibility is at the heart of everything I do, from how I design and deliver learning, to how I collaborate with others.
Whether I’m developing a strategy, co-creating content, or supporting implementation, I focus on practical, flexible and tailored learning experiences that fit around real work rather than take people away from it.
With over 15 years of experience, launching Blended Vocation felt like a natural step. It’s more than a business; it’s the result of my journey and a way to share my commitment to flexible learning that truly fits.
I’m also proud to have built a career that balances my professional goals with being a parent — something that means a great deal to me.
I’m here to help. Let’s create learning that works for your people, your goals and your way of working.

Good learning is more than just content; it is about people. That perspective guides my work as a learning designer and consultant.
Who am I?
I am an individual that enjoys designing training and learning content but also loves to experience learning in many aspects of my life.
I help organisations create effective, flexible, and affordable training and blended learning solutions that deliver real impact.
I also work as a Training Materials Developer and alongside this, I design and revamp training materials across a wide range of sectors.
Alongside this I deliver functional skills, to support and improve personal and functional development of wide range of learners ensuring they can apply their learning practically in their personal lives and career development.
What do I stand for?
I believe learning should be simple, purposeful, and learner-centred. I use proven learning principles and practical design strategies to create clear, engaging training and presentation materials that support inclusion, meet learner needs, and achieve business outcomes without unnecessary complexity or cost.
Who do I serve?
I work with organisations, subject-matter experts, and individuals worldwide to design onboarding, compliance, functional skills, and career-development training. My work includes blended learning programmes, trainer-led and self-paced materials, high-quality PowerPoint presentations, and practical learner resources that work across different contexts and industries.
Why do I do it?
Well-designed learning and training materials build confidence, capability, and performance. My work is informed by hands-on experience delivering Functional Skills and by my Oliver McGowan Tier 2 training, which supports inclusive learning design for learners with SEND, particularly Autism and Learning Disabilities.
My aim is to make training and learning design effective, flexible, and affordable.
